TASTING NOTES
-
Nose
A bold, spirit-forward entry greets you with warm tropical fruit juice, smoked pineapple, and Nocino liqueur. As it opens, notes of imperial stout, hazelnut cream, and fresh earth emerge. The mid-palate reveals decadent American oak - cacao nibs, salted caramel, custard buns, and dark chocolate. The spirit stays vibrant, with layered tropical fruit and oak evolving into confectionery hints of creaming soda and pink musk lollies.
-
Palate
Transitioning with intensity, the palate greets you with a thick, silky texture balanced by oak grip and a burst of lemon sherbet. The mid-palate reveals silky tropical fruits, Parma Violets, warm ginger, and generous baking spices from the American oak. Incredibly lush, it continues with condensed milk and sweet grass as the oak evolves into amber, sandalwood, and cedar. A green, peppery finish rounds out the experience.
-
Finish
With the aromatic oak spices still lingering in the air, the finish brings grounding, round and full notes of fatty macadamia nut and cinnamon toast with salted butter. The grassy and herbal note from the palate sustains with an added waxy nuance, as lavender and sage see the finish out with generous length.
