Glencairn Glasses

Set of two glasses presented in a Sullivans Cove gift box. The Glencairn whisky glass was originally designed by Glencairn Crystal Ltd with the aid of master blenders from five of the largest whisky companies in Scotland. The shape of the glass is derived from the traditional nosing copitas used in whisky labs, specifically curved to aid in nosing whisky. In 2006 the glass won the Queen's Award for innovation, is the first style to be endorsed by the Scotch Whisky Association, and it is used by every whisky company in Scotland and Ireland. We can't let them have all the fun though, so we brought a bunch to Hobart to use for all of our tastings at the distillery.
